How great is Mahara, all you need to do is sign up and pay $5 and away you go. There is so much sourceful, useful information that children and teachers are able to have access through either at school or at home.

Mahara has been designed to be a useful resource ICT tool, especially in the classroom an example of Mahara is it could be used in schools depending on the availability of internet connection and computers by using it as a discussion forum for a specific topic that the Teacher may place on the eportfolio. Students are then able to go home and research on the internet their particular topic and post it on the mahara eportfolio for other students who have access the opportunity to view and comment on it.
